• The app works best with specific questions about stats, players, or teams.

• The Splits tab flags real outliers with a significance test and shows the p-value on each split, so you can tell a genuine trend from small-sample noise.

You can connect a Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo fantasy football league from Settings > Fantasy Leagues. Connecting is optional. FanIQ reads your roster, scoring settings, matchup, and free agents. It changes your team only when you ask it to and confirm, for example when you make a lineup change or send a trade offer from the App. It never makes a change on its own.
• Sleeper: enter your Sleeper username. FanIQ looks up your leagues directly from Sleeper.
• ESPN: for a public league, enter your league ID. For a private league, you'll also need to provide your ESPN session cookies (espn_s2 and SWID) so FanIQ can read it on your behalf. Those cookies stay on your phone; they are never sent to us.
• Yahoo: tap Connect and sign in through Yahoo's secure sign-in flow. FanIQ never sees your Yahoo password.
If you are signed in when you connect a league, FanIQ builds a League Ledger for that league on our server: the league's settings and scoring, every team's name and manager display name, every team's roster, weekly starting lineups and points, standings, trades, waiver claims (including bid amounts), free-agent moves, draft results, and traded picks, for every season your provider gives us. This Ledger is shared by every signed-in FanIQ user connected to the same league, not just you, and it refreshes about once a week, on Tuesdays. We keep the raw data each provider sends us in a private storage bucket, and the Ledger never stores a password, cookie, or access token. If you are signed out, FanIQ stores a smaller record of your league on our server under a random device identifier (the league's ID and name, your team's ID and name, the seasons, and for Sleeper your public Sleeper user ID) so fantasy alerts can reach your phone, and for a Sleeper or ESPN league it builds the same Ledger. A Yahoo league is added to the Ledger only after you sign in. Either way, your ESPN and Yahoo cookies and tokens never leave your phone, and are never part of that record.
Separately, FanIQ records a summary of how the league is configured (scoring format, number of teams, roster shape, redraft vs keeper vs dynasty, snake vs auction, and how many prior seasons are available) so it can tailor draft and lineup guidance to your league's actual rules. That configuration summary never includes your league's name or ID, your team or manager names, your credentials, or which players are on your roster.
To disconnect a league at any time, go to Settings > Fantasy Leagues and tap Disconnect. This immediately deletes any stored credentials for that platform. If you are signed in, it also removes you from that league's Ledger on our server, and if you are signed out it removes the device record of the league; because the Ledger is shared, we delete it entirely only once no other signed-in user is still connected to that league. We keep a short note that a league was removed, with no league details, for up to 12 months, so your other signed-in devices remove it too. The NFL database is stored locally, but an internet connection is needed to process your questions through the AI model.

Open any player and tap Splits. FanIQ breaks each efficiency stat down by down, distance, field zone, quarter, formation, personnel, defenders in the box, and more. Any bucket that differs from the player's own season average by a statistically significant margin is flagged as an outlier, with the p-value shown. Under the hood that is a Welch t-test with a Holm-Bonferroni correction across buckets, so a hot stretch in a small sample does not get mistaken for a real edge.
Signing in is optional and by default we don't collect personal data. We collect usage events, tied to a random identifier generated on your device rather than to your name or account, to improve the app: this includes the content of the questions you type in chat and the app's structured interpretation of them. Chat answers are computed on your device. The app does not send your questions or data to any third-party AI service. If you connect a Sleeper, ESPN, or Yahoo fantasy league, those events also include your league's name, your team's name, and the names of the NFL players on your roster or shown in a comparison or trade idea, so we can tell whether each fantasy provider is working well; this is still tied to your device identifier, not your account or real name. If you tap "Send it to the lab" on a take we could not settle, that one take is sent to us along with the app version and a device identifier, so we can test it and send the answer back; nothing is sent unless you tap it. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google from Settings, we store an account identifier and the email and name the provider gives us, to make that account work; you can delete it at any time from Settings. If you connect a fantasy league, our server stores the league's ID and name and your team's ID and name under your account if you are signed in, or under your device identifier if you are not, so fantasy alerts can reach you. Our server also builds a shared League Ledger for that league, for Yahoo only after you sign in (settings, every team's roster and manager display name, weekly lineups and points, standings, transactions, and draft results, refreshed about once a week); disconnecting the league removes you from it, and deleting your account removes you from every league you are connected to, deleting a league's Ledger entirely once no other signed-in user is still connected to it. Sign in with the same Apple or Google sign-in you used before, from Settings > Sign in. Signing in with Apple and signing in with Google are separate accounts, so use the same one you used before. Your connected Sleeper and Yahoo leagues come back automatically. A private ESPN league still asks you to log in to ESPN once more on the new phone, because ESPN cookies never leave the phone they were entered on.
