Pratt's 2022 was the year Lou Anarumo's man-match scheme weaponized his coverage IQ — he led every LB in the league with 13 passes defensed, beating out Milano, Edmunds, and Fred Warner. He paired it with 2 INTs and a fumble recovery, and started every game on the Bengals defense that reached the AFC Championship.

That single-season PD total is rarefied for an off-ball LB: only Roquan Smith (14 in 2018) had topped 13 in the previous five seasons.

6 years a Bengal starter, then traded mid-2025 — and immediately led all LBs in PDs again.

Cincinnati drafted Pratt in 2019 and got 6 straight years of starting reps. 2024 was a career high in tackles (131), 2022 set the PD record (13), and 2025 produced both — 124 combined tackles plus 10 PDs across two teams after a midseason trade from Las Vegas to Indianapolis.

After 6 years as a Bengals lifer, Pratt signed with the Raiders in March 2025 — and was traded to Indianapolis 5 weeks in. The volume tells the story: he averaged ~5 combined tackles/game on LV, then ~8.3 combined/game on IND in a Lou Anarumo-coordinated defense (his old Bengals DC). The reunion came through — IND tied for the AFC South lead.

734 career combined tackles — already top-15 among LBs drafted since 2019.

Milestone

Through 7 seasons (2019-2025), Pratt has logged 734 career combined tackles plus 37 PDs, 8 forced fumbles, 7 fumble recoveries, and 9 interceptions. The PD/INT counts in particular put him in rare 'three-down LB who actually covers' territory — most off-ball LBs from his draft class have half his PD total.

The 9 career picks include the famous 2021 AFC Wild Card sealing INT vs the Raiders (Bengals' first playoff win in 31 years).

Pratt has hit 2+ INTs in 4 different seasons — only 6 LBs leaguewide have matched that since 2021.

Anomaly

Pratt's career interception line by season: 2 (2021), 2 (2022), 2 (2023), 2 (2024), 1 (2025) — four straight years with multiple picks, then a near-miss in his trade season. For an off-ball MIKE, that's a coverage profile usually reserved for safety-LB hybrids.

Combined with the 37 career PDs, it's why Anarumo's Bengals defense kept letting him drop into hook-curls and middle-of-field reads. The Colts effectively imported that scheme alignment in the back half of 2025.
